Grandaughter's questions inspire senior learner of the year

  Jim Kelly, aged 83, from Sutton Coldfield, took up learning because he couldn’t help his granddaughter with her homework and as a result he has become ‘100% more confident’. His dedication and commitment to learning is being recognised with the National Senior Learner of the Year Award as part of Adult Learners’ Week 15 - 21 May 2010.
