Solo Seniors meet up in Cardiff

Have you ever wished you had more friends? Someone to meet for dinner, or an evening out? Sometimes it’s quite difficult to meet people when you are on your own, especially once you retire.
 
For single over 50s, there doesn’t  seem to be much around in the way of social gatherings – other than dating agencies! And not everyone wants to go down that route! Some people are simply looking for companionship, to have someone to meet for a pleasant evening, rather than to enter the hothouse atmosphere of looking for a potential new partner.
 
A Cardiff resident is experiencing just this problem. Back in Cardiff after a working life spent in the North of England, Joanna Millward had the idea of setting up a small dinner club for mature single people. She is hoping the idea will prove popular, so that members might meet informally once a month or so at a local restaurant, or arrange theatre or concert outings.
