The Eve Appeal charity, which fundraises for groundbreaking research into gynaecological cancers, is searching for women volunteers around the country who would like to help with local events, support local ovarian cancer patients and their families, and promote research into ovarian cancer.
The Regional Ovarian Cancer Co-ordinators (ROCCs) Network is being set up in partnership with Ovacome, the UK’s patient support charity for women with ovarian cancer as part of their ongoing support for The Eve Appeal. Full training and ongoing support will be provided for women who become volunteers.
If don't want to become a volunteer, but wish to support the work of The Eve Appeal, please drop into Boots and pick up The Eve Appeal’s silver heart shaped phone charm, available in all Boots stores from the beginning of June. All proceeds go straight to The Eve Appeal.
For more information about becoming a volunteer visit the site lined below.
