As part of my warm-up for the Olympics, I am running in the British 10k through central London on Sunday 8 July to raise funds for the charity, Grandparents Plus.
It’s a great organisation making a real difference – of course I would say that, as its co-chair alongside its founder Jean Stogdon – but have a look for yourself at the charity’s website. Just this week Grandparents Plus hit the headlines with a new report about grandparents who bring up their grandchildren and have to give up work because of lack of support.
You can sponsor me and donate to Grandparents Plus here – please don’t forget to add gift aid. I hope to complete the 10k in 52 minutes…
Many thanks in anticipation
