Retirement Age
- Tuesday, 17 January 2012
Hello,
Has no-one realised that children born in 1953 left school at 15 so will already have worked for 4 years longer than those born in 1957 when the school leaving age went from 15 to 16?
They will now have to wait even longer for their pension? Also by working even longer there will be less jobs for school-leavers, who need to get out to work as soon as possible. There is an on-line petition for this which you might like to tell people about.
