Sistema Salad To Go Box - a review from Molly Gibson

One of our reviewers - Molly Gibson - has written to us with her thoughts of the Sistema Salad To Go box.
Looking forward to my lunch today! I’ve got a new Salad To Go Box with cool pack and lots of other little extras.
Now that summer has arrived (!) it is an ideal time for taking salads to work for packed lunch - and so much healthier than sandwiches.
The Salad To Go is a square bowl shape – a good size for a large salad for one or other snacks for a picnic to share. On top of the box is a cool pack that goes into the freezer beforehand and then fits snugly around the rim of the salad bowl – keeping it away from any food that is stored inside. The lid then fits over the cool pack encasing the whole lot and is secured by plastic clips on each side (a little fiddly until you get the hang of it).
Once prepared the food stays cool and fresh until ready to be eaten (I made my salad first thing in the morning and ate it at lunch time - the cooling block was still really cold (and I would think will keep cool all day).
Stored in the lid is a small knife and fork and within the cooling block is a small screw top container which is ideal for salad dressings etc.
I can’t wait to use the box for taking on a picnic – all I need is some good summer weather but I may have to wait a bit longer for that!!
